How much does Mounjaro cost in Bangkok?

Short answer: in Bangkok clinics, a Mounjaro pen costs roughly ฿12,000 to ฿15,000 at the 2.5 mg starting strength, about ฿20,000 to ฿26,000 at 10 mg, and up to about ฿30,000 at 15 mg, based on four clinic price lists we checked on 7 November 2026. One pen holds four weekly portions at its labelled strength, so a pen covers about a month. Consultation and lab tests are usually extra.

Mounjaro is Eli Lilly's brand of tirzepatide, a prescription medicine. Since 15 September 2026 it can only be supplied on a doctor's prescription in Thailand. Friday does not sell Mounjaro or any other prescription medicine.

What do Bangkok clinics charge per pen?

These are each clinic's published list price per pen in Thai baht, as shown on its website when we checked on 7 November 2026 (ProDerma says its list was last checked on 9 September 2026). Some clinics discount when you buy two or more pens. Prices change, so confirm the current price and what it includes before booking. Friday has no connection to any of these clinics.

Why do prices differ between clinics?

• Strength. Higher-strength pens cost more.
• What is included. Some prices cover the pen only; consultation, blood tests and follow-up visits are often billed separately.
• Multi-pen offers. ProDerma, for example, takes 10% off two or more pens.
• Clinic or hospital. Prices vary between providers, so compare more than one.

The total for a month is therefore the pen price plus any visit fees. Ask for an all-in quote.

Do you need a prescription for Mounjaro in Thailand?

Yes. Mounjaro is a registered medicine in Thailand: Thai FDA registration 1C 19/67 (NC), approved on 31 July 2024, distributed by Zuellig Pharma. From 15 September 2026, GLP-1 pen medicines were reclassified as specially controlled drugs, so a pharmacy may supply them only against a doctor's prescription, dispensed by a pharmacist. The Thai FDA also extended Track and Trace reporting so pens can be followed through the supply chain.

How can you tell a Mounjaro pen is genuine?

• Buy only from a licensed clinic, hospital or pharmacy, on prescription.
• Check the Thai registration number on the pack against the Thai FDA drug database.
• Use Lilly's own guidance on spotting counterfeit pens.
• Avoid social-media sellers: the Thai FDA has warned about counterfeit and unregistered GLP-1 pens sold online and seized large stocks of them in 2026.

Is research tirzepatide the same as Mounjaro?

Same molecule, different product. Mounjaro is an approved medicine made to regulated specifications in a prefilled pen.
