Buying peptides in Thailand

A practical checklist for English-speaking buyers in Thailand: what to check before you order, and how ordering from Friday works.

What "peptides" means here

A peptide is a short chain of amino acids. The word covers a huge range of things, from the collagen peptides in supplements and the "peptide" creams in cosmetics shops to licensed prescription medicines. This guide is about one category only: research peptides, synthetic peptides supplied as lyophilised powder in sealed vials for laboratory research, education and analytical testing.

Research peptides are not medicines and are not sold for human or animal consumption. If you are looking for a prescription medicine, the right route in Thailand is a licensed doctor and pharmacy. Our tirzepatide vs Mounjaro guide explains the difference using one well-known example.

1. Check the certificate of analysis

The certificate of analysis (COA) is the single most important document. A useful COA:

  • comes from a named, independent testing lab, not the seller's own lab or the factory;
  • names the sample and a batch number you can match to the vial;
  • has a test date after the product was made;
  • reports identity, normally by mass spectrometry, and purity and content, normally by HPLC;
  • matches the exact compound and strength you are buying. A report for a 10mg vial does not cover a 5mg vial, and a report for one blend does not cover another.

Red flags: a report with the batch number cropped out, the same report reused for every product, a lab that cannot be found, or a seller who will not share any report. Every vial Friday stocks is lab-tested by batch: message us and we can share the report for the batch you are ordering.

2. Check the label and the vial

A properly labelled research vial states the compound name, the peptide content in milligrams (or IU for some compounds), a batch or lot number and a research-use statement. The seal should be intact, with a flip-off cap over a rubber stopper. The powder is usually a white cake or loose powder; some compounds have a distinctive colour, such as the blue of GHK-Cu.

Be cautious with unlabelled vials, handwritten labels, labels with no strength, and products sold by a nickname with no compound name. Friday lists every product with its compound, vial strength and price, and you can see the vial you will receive on each product page.

3. Understand storage and the "cold chain"

Many buyers ask about cold chain. Lyophilised (freeze-dried) peptides are dry powders and are much more stable than solutions; they generally tolerate a few days at room temperature, which is why research suppliers commonly ship them by normal courier rather than refrigerated transport. What matters more is what happens once the vial arrives:

  • refrigerate sealed vials (2-8 °C) on arrival, or freeze them for longer-term storage;
  • keep them dry and away from light;
  • let a cold vial reach room temperature before opening, so condensation does not form inside;
  • expect reconstituted solutions to be short-lived, and keep them refrigerated.

Thailand's heat makes the last step of the journey the riskiest. Arrange delivery to an address where someone can take the parcel in, rather than leaving it in a hot lobby or vehicle for hours.

4. Delivery and payment

Ordering from abroad means customs, long transit times and no recourse if a parcel is lost. A shop inside Thailand avoids those problems. Friday is based in Bangkok and sells to addresses in Thailand only:

  • Delivery: tracked next-day dispatch across Thailand, a flat ฿60 per order. Delivery time depends on your area and the courier.
  • Prices: in Thai baht, shown on every product page, with the final total confirmed at checkout.
  • Payment: bank transfer. You upload the transfer slip at checkout and our team confirms it before the order is packed.
  • Help: questions about stock, batches or an order go to our team on Telegram or WhatsApp, in English.

5. Research use and the rules

Every Friday product is sold for research use only: laboratory research, education and analytical testing. Products are not for human or animal consumption and not for therapeutic or diagnostic use. Buyers must be 20 or older, the age of majority in Thailand, and accept our research-use terms before ordering.

Medicines in Thailand are regulated by the Thai Food and Drug Administration, and the rules that apply to a substance depend on what it is and how it is used. This guide is general information, not legal advice. If your research setting has regulatory questions, take them to a qualified Thai lawyer or the relevant authority.

A reputable research supplier will not give instructions for personal use, and Friday's team does not give medical or personal-use advice.

Where to start

Browse every compound by research area on the shop, or read the compound guides: tirzepatide, retatrutide, retatrutide vs tirzepatide and GHK-Cu. Popular research compounds include BPC-157, TB-500 and NAD+. Lab supplies such as bacteriostatic water are in the Supplies section.
